Refund policy
At North Footwear, we want you to feel confident about your purchase. This policy explains how our refunds work — what you get back, how long it takes, and what applies regarding shipping costs. For details on how to send an item back, please see our Return & Exchange Policy.
1. When you're entitled to a refund
You have the right to cancel your purchase and receive a refund within 14 days of receiving your order, in accordance with applicable consumer law (EU, US & UK). The item must be unused and in its original condition, with the original packaging included.
You are also entitled to a refund if an item is defective, incorrect, or wrongly delivered. In these cases, we cover all costs (see section 3).
2. How much you get back
- Change of mind: We refund the full purchase amount of the item. We don't charge any administrative or restocking fees.
- Return shipping: For a change-of-mind refund, you as the customer are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping. That cost is not refunded.
- Exchanges: If you'd rather exchange your item for a different size, colour, or model, it's completely free — we cover shipping both ways. An exchange isn't affected by this refund policy.
3. Defective, incorrect, or damaged items
If your item is defective, if you received the wrong item, if something is missing, or if your parcel arrived damaged, you shouldn't have to cover any cost. In these cases we offer either a free replacement or a full refund — including any shipping costs — in line with your statutory warranty rights.
For transit damage, please send photos of the damage (with the shipping label clearly visible) to support@northfootwear.se within 5 days of receiving your order. Should a replacement item also prove faulty, we will issue a full refund.
4. Which payment method & how long it takes
Refunds are always made to your original payment method. Once we've received and inspected your returned item, we process your refund within 5 business days. After that it may take a few additional days for the amount to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Bundle offers (e.g. 2- or 3-pair packs)
Our bundle offers are based on the purchase of multiple items. If you return part of a bundle for a refund but keep one or more items:
- The bundle discount is forfeited.
- The item(s) you keep are charged at their individual regular price as of the date of purchase.
- Your refund is calculated as: total bundle price paid − regular price of items kept = refund amount.
(Note: if you simply exchange one pair from a bundle for a different size, your bundle discount is kept in full.)
6. Items that cannot be refunded
The following cannot be refunded:
- Used or worn products.
- Items not in their original condition or missing their original packaging.
- Pre-ordered items.
- Items returned after the statutory 14-day withdrawal period.
Promotional items (e.g. BOGO offers) can be refunded, but are limited to a maximum of 3 items per customer.
